I hope you have enjoyed the term Two break and are all ready to go for Term Three.
The Presbyterian Church Schools’ conference Forming for Transforming | Te Whakahou, is only a few weeks away.
This year’s conference is being held at Rangi Ruru Girls’ School on Thursday August 6 (with the powhiri starting at 9.30am) and Friday August 7 (ending by 12pm).
If you haven’t registered for the conference yet you can do that here . The tab on the top right hand of the page gives information about the conference programme and speakers as well as online registration.Registration closes on July 24th.

The conference for Chaplains and RE teachers is also being held in Christchurch on Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th of August. Please contact Jillian Fenton if you need information about that conference.

In news from our schools Rev Carolin Telford, Chaplain at St Cuthbert’s College, finished in her role at the end of Term 2. Carolin served as Chaplain at St Cuthbert’s with great dedication for eight years and we wish her all the best in ‘what comes next’. The College is currently working through its appointment process and we look forward to welcoming the new St Cuthbert’s Chaplain to our network in due course.
Dr Sandra Hastie, Principal of Saint Kentigern Girls’ School has been appointed Head of Tavistock & Summerhill School in Haywards Heath, West Sussex UK. Sandra finishes in her role at Saint Kentigerns Girls’ School on August 14. She has held her current role since 2010 and before that was a senior member of staff, including Deputy Principal, at the Boys’ School for fifteen years. Our thanks, warm regards and best wishes go to Sandra as she takes up her new role .
